Mission Statement

The mission of EWTA is to provide a single point of contact for the European POE/POU water treatment industry to recognise and act upon:

  1. Opportunities for promotion of the POU/POE industry (such as energy efficiency, environmental and health benefits), through websites, press coverage, conferences, government lobbying, etc.
  2. Potential challenges in the form of legislation, standardisation, product certification, media publicity, etc.

The primary objective is to provide the forum, expertise and communication for actions at European level but also to provide assistance with national issues where relevant to European interests or where there is no local national association. The emphasis is on driving an agenda which is set and controlled by the industry.
